White nationalists are gathering outside of Boston. The gunmen are returning to the schools. There's a self righteous arrogance from Portland to Austin. There's a saturating darkness gathering in pools in my heart. In my heart. Oh what a week, what a month, what a year. What a decade! I shake my head as this darkness gathers near. Are you struggling on the frontlines? Struggling to get dressed? Are you surrounded by these protestors who won't give us any rest? Do you lack the human capacity to feel the guilt of your sins? Or are you stuck between a love for humanity and this trouble within?

Does it still feel good? Refusing to play the game? As each day he issues more abuse. Ain't none of us free with one of us in chains also means that none of our hands are clean you must know this to be true. In your heart. In your heart. From the cages on the border to the ones outside of town. The institutions for the lost we never wanted to be found. You can pray for absolution or you can try to wash your hands as the Department of Corrections digs deeper holes into the land. But any hope for resolution, the true wages of our sins lie between a love for humanity and the trouble within.
